Johnny Diesel (also known as Mark Lizotte) has always been an artist that was part of my childhood growing up.
Whether I was listening to him on the radio with my family on a road trip or giving my copy of "Hepfidelity" another spin on my stereo, I think in many ways as a kid, he fueled a passion for guitar and many years later, the importance of great songwriting. .
He's got an amazing voice, a great guitarist and has penned some amazing songs. It's a wonder why he doesn't get more praise IMO.
Jezza and I gave his hit "Tip of my tongue" a go acoustic style at our last gig together which you can check out in the video below.
